Maulana Syed Jawwadul Haider Rizvi issued an appeal to the people that no one should violate the law of their country and should never sacrifice a prohibited animal which is also forbidden by Sharia. Also, refrain from showing off the sacrificial animal. Allah does not like show-off at all and neither do ostentatious sacrifices get accepted in the court of Allah. Syed Mohammad Askari, General Secretary of Ummul Banin Society, while forbidding the people from sacrificing animals in open places, appealed to them to cover its meat and distribute it to the needy. He said that do not throw the remains of animals on the road or anywhere else so that the Quranic verses recited at the time of your sacrifice are not disrespected nor the sentiments of any other community are hurt.
