Decision taken by voice vote in general meet of HCBA

Prayagraj: The membership of High Court advocate Ritesh Srivastava and four of his associates, K.K. Yadav, Deepak Shukla, Vivek Kumar Pal, and Anuj Kumar Sen, was terminated on Wednesday. The meeting took place at 1 p.m. in the library hall.

This decision was passed by voice vote in the general meeting of the High Court Bar Association. It was also decided in the general meeting that all five advocates should be expelled from the membership of the High Court Bar Association and a proposal has also been passed to remove their names from the advocate roll and the list of chamber allotments. In the general meeting chaired by President Rakesh Pandey Babua and led by General Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sharma.

Both the President and the General Secretary have been authorized to identify their other associates as soon as possible and take appropriate action against them.

Also, the date of the general meeting for amendment in the rules of the High Court Bar Association has been fixed as July 6. At the same time, the proposal to hold the annual general meeting of the High Court Bar Association on July 10 has been passed by voice vote.
