Senior officials took action on strictness of Minister Nandi

Instructions were given for action on laxity in the matter of illegal occupation

Prayagraj: The Muthiganj police station chief’s biased attitude and laxity in the case of illegal encroachment on a Chowk businessman’s land proved costly for him. Despite Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s clear and strict instructions regarding the illegal encroachments, Minister Nandi directed higher officials to take action. Following this action, he was transferred elsewhere.

Based on this, Minister Nandi issued clear instructions to higher officials against the Muthiganj police station in-charge, stating that those involved in organized illegal occupation and property disputes should not be allowed to flourish under any circumstances. Just a few days ago, some people attempted to illegally occupy the cotton warehouse of Vijay Kesarwani, a businessman in Chowk, and assaulted him. Minister Nandi took cognizance of this incident and directed officials to take strict action.

Minister Nandi said that such anarchic elements will not be allowed to flourish in the City South Assembly constituency. The well-being of traders and the general public, and law and order, are Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s top priorities. No one will be allowed to tamper with these under any circumstances.
