Shri Ram Katha Mahotsav inaugurated with grand Kalash Yatra in Manikpur

Ram Katha discourse will be held daily from June 8 to June 14

Prayagraj: The Shri Ram Katha Mahotsav began with a grand Kalash Yatra in Manikpur village of the Handia region on Sunday. Thousands of women participated in the procession, carrying Kalash on their heads with reverence and devotion. A large number of devotees attended the event, which began amid a religious atmosphere.

The storytelling will begin on June 8th: According to the organizers, the storytelling of the Shri Ram Katha will be conducted by Acharya Om Prakash Shukla, a narrator, from 4 pm to 8 pm daily from June 8th to June 14th. The story will describe the ideals and life events of Lord Shri Ram.

Mahaprasad will be distributed after the Purnahuti havan: The program will conclude with the Purnahuti havan on June 15th. A Mahaprasad distribution (Bhandara) will be organized on the same day, starting at 2 p.m. On this occasion, the organizers have appealed to local residents and devotees to participate in the program and receive the benefits of the religious rituals.
