Prayagraj: A memorandum was submitted to ATM City under the leadership of advocate and social worker Siyaram Saroj, demanding the reconstruction and improvement of the Revenue Archives located in the Collectorate complex. After submitting the memorandum, advocate Siyaram Saroj stated that the future of approximately 10 lakh farmers in the district is secure in the Revenue Archives. However, it is regrettable that the attention of the Revenue Department’s main department is perhaps not directed towards it. Since the Revenue Archives was built during the British era, its capacity has increased 50-fold compared to today’s. Consequently, the storage system for these records is inadequate. Furthermore, tehsil records, which used to be deposited at the headquarters, are no longer being deposited. Those previously stored at the headquarters are in a dismal state.

Consequently, the work of the general public and advocates is often delayed for months, and copies are often delayed for two months. Consequently, people become frustrated and continue to criticize the staff. It is possible that the District Magistrate is well aware of this fact that is why the records are getting destroyed. This is the reason why a report is attached to most of the questions. Siyaram Saroj said, where should the Tehsil Bar Archives be built and now the people should be protected at all costs, time will not be wasted. On this occasion, advocates Anil Dwivedi, Shyam Krishna Pandey, Shyam Prasad Saroj, Balram Singh, Subhash Chandra, Ajay Kumar Kumari, Manisha Atiq Ahmed Shahid and others were present.
