Prayagraj: Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement at Cantt High School, New Cantt, Prayagraj, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great Indian educationist and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Various educational and creative activities were organized in the school to mark the special occasion.

As part of the Teacher’s Day celebrations, Class 10 students took responsibility for running the school for a day.

The students stepped into the role of teachers, conducted classes, and made an effort to understand the academic and administrative activities of the school. Through this innovative activity, students got an opportunity to closely understand and experience the work, responsibilities, discipline, and various aspects of school administration.

On the occasion, School Principal Shri Mohd. Ansar, addressing the students, said that teachers play a vital role in building society.

Teachers not only impart academic knowledge to students but also develop discipline, values, moral principles, and a sense of responsibility in them, preparing them to face the challenges of life. He said that the initiative of students taking on the role of teachers for a day was highly commendable and educational. It provided students with practical experience of understanding the responsibilities, hard work, and duties of teachers. During the programme, the students expressed their respect, love, and gratitude towards their teachers. On behalf of the entire school family, heartfelt wishes were extended to all the teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
