For his outstanding contribution in field of computer education
Prayagraj: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, an award ceremony was held at the Rajarshi Tandon Seva Kendra on Bank Road to honor teachers with disabilities and those who have made significant contributions to the field of education for the disabled. Prashant Maurya, Director of the National Genius Institute (NGI), Salori, and computer education expert, was honored with the “Ashtaavakra Gaurav Samman” by Chief Guest Justice Gautam Chaudhary of the Allahabad High Court. After receiving the award, Prashant Maurya stated that education is not just a means of employment, but a powerful tool for bringing positive change in society. He stated that providing quality and practical computer education to students is his constant endeavor. Prashant Maurya also conducts computer classes for the UPSSSC exams. He also provides students with information and study materials related to computer education and competitive exams through his YouTube channel, “OLPS ACADEMY.” The event was presided over by Rajkumar Chopra, National President of the Lok Sevak Mandal. He highlighted the life and ideals of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and emphasized the important role teachers play in building society. The vote of thanks was given by senior social worker and teacher Shrinarayan Yadav and Chandrabhan Dwivedi. A large number of social workers, teachers and dignitaries including Gufran Khan, Anuradha, Omprakash Shukla, Abhishek Chauhan, Pyare Lal Yadav, Comrade Manoj Pandey, Madhu Yadav, Lavlesh Singh, Rakesh Banodha, Anil Kumar Jaiswal, Ghanshyam Master, Ram Raghuveer, Dr. Sudha Pandey, Padma were present in the function.
