Prayagraj: 70th Divisional School Boxing Championship was organized at Cantt High School, New Cantt, Prayagraj. Around 96 students from various schools across Prayagraj Division, including Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, and Fatehpur, participated in different age categories. The competition was inaugurated by Mr. Mohd. Ansar, Principal, Cantt High School, who interacted with the players and took their introduction.

In the competition, 11 players in the Under-14 category, 11 in Under-17, 9 in Under-19, and 13 players in the Girls’ category were selected for the upcoming State-Level Boxing Championship. Vimlesh Kumar Pal, Girivesh Pandey, Harilal, Dharmendra Singh, Sonu Singh, Akshay Kumar, Shivam Pandey, Mohammad Noor, and others performed the role of judges/referees during the competition.

The competition was conducted by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Sports Teacher, Cantt High School, while Mr. Ankit Gupta, State-Level Boxing Referee, performed the role of an official.

On this occasion, Mr. V.D. Shukla, Principal, Vicker Public School, Mrs. Narmada Chauhan, Senior Teacher, and other distinguished guests were also present. The championship concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from the young boxers and officials.
