Prayagraj: Various programs will be held between 10.09.2026 to 16.09.2026 under the Official Language Hindi Week at Rajarshi Tandon Mahila Mahavidyalaya (RTMM), Constituent Allahabad University, Malviya Nagar, Prayagraj.
A national poets’ conference was organized. The presence of respected poets, including Dr. Shlesh Gautam, a well-known poet and stage director from Prayagraj, Abhijeet Mishra, a well-known young poet from Rae Bareli, Dr. Santosh Shukla Samarth, a well-known poet from Prayagraj, Neelam Tiwari, a renowned poetess from Prayagraj, and Jai Awasthi, a young poet from Chitrakoot, made the conference meaningful.
The program began with the lighting of lamps and garlands by patron Principal Professor Ajay Prakash Khare, coordinator Neelima Singh, Professor Namita Yadav, and a group of poets, who presented photographs of Goddess Saraswati and the Hindi scholar, Bharat Ratna Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon. The Principal welcomed and greeted all guests by presenting them with saplings. Dr. Shlesh Gautam moderated the poetry conference.
National organized under the Official Language Week
Assistant Professor of Law Shlesh Gautam inaugurated the Official Language Week at the Kavi Sammelan. Through the poem “Hindi is the land of emotions of language”, he highlighted the importance of Hindi language and presented his poem on women’s pride, evil of a true companion and brotherly love.
Poet Dr. Santosh Shukla Samarth presented a poem titled “Request to the Cloud” and related to sanskar. Poetess Neelam Tiwari mesmerized everyone with her poem “Truth is the only truth, everything else is just hope, why should one call his daughter son and pamper her?”
In the program, Jai Awasthi, through his poem, praised Mother India, centered on patriotism and heroism, and strongly attacked the traitors.
Abhijeet Mishra presented his powerful and inspiring poem, “Meri Kavita Hindustan Ki Kank Kan Likhne Wala Hai,” on heroism, patriotism, love for the country, and martyrdom. On this occasion, Dr. Shlesh Gautam and Dr. Santosh Shukla Samarth presented their poetry collections to Principal Professor Ajay Prakash Khare and coordinator Professor Neelima Singh. Principal Professor Ajay Prakash Khare welcomed the guests, and Professor Neelima Singh, coordinator of the poetry conference, expressed her gratitude.
