Prayagraj: Hindi Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Ashutosh Memorial School, located in Dhanaicha-Malkhanpur, Hanumangganj. Present as invited guests were Vinamrasen Singh, professor of the Hindi department at Allahabad Central University and renowned national poet, Keshav Kishore Upadhyay, senior administrative officer at the Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Social Sciences, and Jaiprakash Tripathi.

The program began with the lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana by the children. In his address, Shri Vinamrasen Singh said that for the nation’s progress and the protection of its cultural heritage, it is our responsibility to maintain the prestige of Hindi, our country’s primary language. Keshav Kishore Upadhyay said that Hindi is the only language capable of uniting the entire country. It is not just a language, but a symbol of our pride.

In the program, students of different classes also gave beautiful cultural presentations. The winners of the essay competitions organized on Hindi Diwas were given certificates by the guests. Earlier, on their arrival at the school premises, the Chairman of the school Professor J. P. N. Mishra and Director Dr. Girish Kumar Pandey welcomed and honored the guests by presenting them shawls and mementos. The teachers of the school actively contributed in the program. The responsibility of the program was taken by the teacher of the school Mrs. Kirti Divedi and the coordination was done by Vatendra Kumar Singh.
