Prayagraj: Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj, hosted its Grandparents’ Day 2026–27 with warmth and enthusiasm, bringing together young learners from Nursery to Class 2 and their grandparents to celebrate the cherished bonds of family. The event was graced by Chief Guest, Mayor of Prayagraj, Ganesh Kesarwani, along with the Guests of Honour, Corporators Ashish Dwivedi and Anand Ghildiyal, whose participation added distinction to the celebrations. The guests expressed their appreciation to management committee members, Pradeep Mukherjee – President, Jagat Taran Education Society, Sanjeev Chanda – Joint Secretary, Shankar Chatterjee – Treasurer, Amit Kumar Neogy – Manager & Dolly Banerjee – Principal Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School along with the other esteemed members, for their efforts in preserving and promoting the school’s rich cultural values and traditions, while nurturing the spirit of respect, family bonds, and togetherness among the young learners. The programme opened with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by the felicitation of the dignitaries and a melodious Welcome Song. Principal Ms. Dolly Banerjee welcomed the gathering and highlighted the enduring significance of grandparents in shaping young lives. The cultural presentations, including Shiv Vandana, Retro Tadka, Dadi vs Spiderman, Pyar ki Shakti and Rishton ki Roshni, enthralled the audience. Grandparents enthusiastically participated in interactive games such as Join the Dots and Guess the Song, adding to the festive spirit. The Chief Guest appreciated the school’s initiative. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem, leaving the gathering with cherished memories.
