Prayagraj: In a significant step toward protecting the safety and rights of women at work, the Office of the Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Prayagraj Zone, has formed an internal committee under the POSH Act 2013 (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act). Avantika Tandon, a prominent social worker and vocal voice for women’s empowerment, has been nominated as an external member of this committee.

Expressing gratitude for the nomination, Avantika Tandon said that ensuring the dignity and safety of women in the workplace is a primary responsibility of both society and the administration. She will discharge her duties with utmost devotion and impartiality to protect the rights of women police personnel, raise awareness, and promote a safe work culture.
