Supports movement for TGT-PGT reinstatement

Prayagraj: On its 32nd day, the Gen Z Connect Yatra of Justice Morcha started from the Union Hall of Allahabad University and reached Phaphamau via Colonelganj, University Square, Science Faculty, Manmohan Park, Kachhari, Bailey Road, Mumfordganj and Teliyarganj. During the journey, the Yatra participants participated in the ongoing protest at the Stone Church demanding the implementation of the old rules for TGT and PGT recruitment since June. During the hunger strike by the protesters, which began on September 5th, the Gen Z Connect Yatra extended its support to the movement and encouraged the fasting candidates and protesters.

During the tour, there was constant interaction with youth and students. Meeting students at various coaching institutes from Allahabad University to Phaphamau, the tour discussed issues related to improving the education system, transparency in the recruitment process, timely examinations, employment opportunities, and the future of youth. Students were briefed on the tour’s demands and invited to attend the concluding event of the Gen Z Connect Tour in Lucknow on October 2nd.

The Gen Z Connect Yatra began on August 20th in Chauri Chaura, Gorakhpur, and will conclude in Lucknow on October 2nd. The 45-day journey traversed various districts of eastern and central Uttar Pradesh, engaging with students, youth, and ordinary citizens on issues of education, employment, a transparent examination system, and equal opportunity.
