Prayagraj: Students from Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University have been selected as Assistant Professors of Hindi Language on a contract basis in an examination conducted by the Bihar State University Service Commission, Patna. Of the eight students, seven are from the Hindi Literature Department of the University’s Language School, and one is from the Political Science Department. Of these, Ravindra Kumar Ravi has been selected at the Government Degree College, Dariyapur, of Jaiprakash Narayan University, Saran. Dr. Gunja Anand has been selected at the Government Degree College, Makhdumpur, Karay Parsurai, Nalanda, of Patliputra University. Dr. Panchdev Prasad has been selected at the Government Degree College, Kusheshwar, of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar. Dr. Navneet Kumar has been selected at the Government Degree College, Khaira, of Munger University, Munger. Dr. Avinash Bharti has been selected at the Government Degree College, Mashrakh, Chapra, of Jaiprakash Narayan University, Saran, Bihar. Dr. Amit Kumar has been selected to the Government Degree College, Majorganj, Sitamarhi, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Dr. Pragya Shakalya has been selected to the Government Degree College, Athmalgola, Patliputra University. Dr. Dattatraya Nivrutti Ravan, a political science student, has been selected to the Government Degree College, Gaighat, B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

The selection of eight students simultaneously is a matter of pride for the university. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kumud Sharma congratulated all the selected students and wished them a bright future. The selected students explained that the university’s academic environment, the guidance of the faculty, and the library’s extensive library of books for preparing for competitive exams outside of the curriculum led to their selection by the Bihar State University Service Commission. The students’ hard work, the university’s facilities for study, and the efforts being made towards their overall personality and social development are important factors behind this success. Their selection is an inspiration for other students. The faculty of the department also congratulated and wished the students well.
