Prayagraj: Under the leadership of Congress Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and renowned economist, the late Dr. Manmohan Singh, was celebrated with reverence and respect at the Congress office in Sikandra. Congress members paid floral tributes to his portrait and remembered his contributions to the nation. On this occasion, District President Ashfaq Ahmed said that Dr. Manmohan Singh served the country with his simple personality, visionary thinking, and economic policies. His life was a symbol of honesty, decency, and dedication to democratic values. He said, “Dr. Manmohan Singh’s contributions will always be remembered in the history of Indian politics and economy. He worked to strengthen the country’s economy under difficult circumstances and set an example of simplicity in public life.” He called on Congress workers to carry forward Dr. Manmohan Singh’s ideas, democratic values, and spirit of public service.
