Scholarship transfer ceremony held at Rotary Happy School Jamunipur under ‘KG to PG’ project
Prayagraj: With the aim of shaping the future of needy children through education, Rotary Club of Prayagraj Sangam organized a scholarship transfer ceremony at Rotary Happy School, Motilal Nehru Inter College, Jamunipur, Prayagraj under its education service project “KG to PG – A Rotary Education Support Project”. On this occasion, the club took the responsibility of the entire year’s educational expenses of four students and provided them scholarships and necessary educational support. It is noteworthy that Rotary Prayagraj Sangam is continuously doing this service work every year, under which support is provided for the annual education of needy and deserving students of Rotary Happy School. The objective of the club is to ensure that the education of any child is not affected due to financial circumstances.
The students present expressed their gratitude for the Rotary Club’s efforts. Rotarians interacted with the children, encouraging them to practice regular study, discipline, hard work, and persistent efforts to achieve their life goals.
On this occasion, Rotarian Amarendra Singh, President of the Rotary Club of Prayagraj Sangam, stated that education is the most effective means of bringing lasting change in society. He added that the club’s annual support of education for needy students is part of this vision. Through the “KG to PG” project, the club is committed to providing educational opportunities to more children in the future.
Rotarian Secretary Sadhana Srivastava said that supporting a child’s education is tantamount to strengthening their entire future. She added that, as in previous years, Rotary Prayagraj Sangam has taken on the responsibility of supporting the annual education of four students this year, and this service will continue.
Former Rotarian Secretary Dr. Girish Pandey, Rotarian Sachin Upadhyay, First Lady Rotarian Vartika Singh, and Rotarian Arvind Shukla, along with several Rotarian members, were present at the event. Rotary Happy School teachers and the school family were also present. The school children were particularly enthusiastic during the program. Rotarians interacted with the students, inquiring about their studies and future aspirations, and assured them of all possible support.
The “KG to PG” project is one of Rotary Prayagraj Sangam’s major educational initiatives. Through this initiative, the club strives to provide children not only with educational support in the present but also with a strong foundation for better opportunities in the future. The program concluded with an expression of gratitude to the school family. The Rotarians present resolved to continue this annual educational service and extend its benefits to as many needy children as possible. Our commitment is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and advance.
