Prayagraj: A Kisan Chaupal was organized in Chikadi under the leadership of Congress Gangapar District President Ashfaq Ahmed. The public was made aware of various problems faced by farmers, including food, seeds, pesticides, medicines, inflation, and unemployment. Ahmed stated that the public is in a state of panic. Farmers’ paddy crops have been damaged by flooding, rendering their hard work futile. Their entire farming costs have been lost. Farmers are facing a shortage of urea. Shopkeepers are selling it at exorbitant prices where urea is available. Similarly, farmers are receiving double the price of pesticides. The BJP, after gaining the support of farmers, formed a government and has pushed them to the brink of ruin and starvation. Electricity cuts are occurring in the village, forcing people to live in darkness. Due to dampness in the streets of the village, the roads got flooded and this is causing many types of infectious diseases. But there are no medicines in the health department due to which treatment for the poor is not possible, only the Congress party is capable of providing its only solution and treatment, as long as BJP is in power, development of the country is not possible, therefore you people should give your support to the Congress party, only then the path of development will be easy.
