Prayagraj: On the auspicious occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary and as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a large free medical camp was successfully organized on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Sundaram Garden Guest House, Naini, Prayagraj, under the joint aegis of Allahabad Guest House Association and Medanta Hospital, Lucknow. This event was organized with the aim of providing health facilities to the needy people of the society, inspired by the ideals of national service and public service.

An expert medical team from Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, specially traveled from Lucknow to Prayagraj for the camp. Important health checkups, such as blood sugar tests, blood pressure checks, bone mass density (BMD), and ECG, were made available free of charge. Following the checkups, senior Medanta doctors also provided necessary health advice.

The program was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon by President of Allahabad Guest House Association Mr. Gufran Ahmed, Vice President Mr. Vidyasagar Keshari, Zonal Incharge Mr. Matin Gupta, Zonal Incharge Mr. Akash Jaiswal, Senior Member of Naini Mr. Dharmendra Tiwari and Senior Doctor of Medanta Hospital.

The presence of Mr. Raunak Gupta, coordinator of Allahabad Civil Defense, added special dignity and enthusiasm to the event. He praised the health camp, which was organized with a spirit of public service, and said that such public welfare events should continue to be held to provide healthcare to those in need. A large number of people from Gandhi Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, RAL Colony, Mewalal Bagiya and other areas of Naini reached the camp and availed the benefit of free health check-up and medical consultation.

Many dignitaries, including Mr. Om Prakash Yadavwal, Mr. Bharat Singh, Mr. Ramesh Pandey, Mrs. Aarti Tiwari, Mr. Pradeep Mishra, Mr. Mahatma Dubey, Mr. Sharan Kumar Singh, Mr. Alok Jaiswal, Mr. Anas Khan, Mr. Allen Dhiru, Mr. Ravi Shankar Mishra, and Mrs. Garima Singh, were present on the occasion. All of them benefited from the health camp, praised the event, and congratulated the organizers and the Medanta Hospital team.

Visitors to the camp expressed their appreciation for the value of such free health camps for the general public, especially those in need. They urged continued holding of such camps in the future, so that more people can benefit from expert doctors and modern health screening facilities.
