Prayagraj: Young social worker Nitish Shukla, associated with Childline Railway Prayagraj, was honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Uttar Pradesh Crime Prevention Committee, Prayagraj Branch, during its Annual Function 2026. The award was presented by Justice Vipin Dixit and Justice Rajiv Lochan Mehrotra in recognition of Shukla’s dedicated contribution to public welfare, traffic awareness, crime prevention, blood donation, tree plantation, safety and social service.

The committee praised his dedication, honesty, humanitarian approach and commitment to society, describing his work as an inspiration for others. The organisation also acknowledged the selfless services of its volunteers during major occasions and festivals, including Magh Mela, Dussehra, Eid, Muharram and Holi, in support of the administration and the public.
