Prayagraj: As part of the third phase of the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Celebrations 2026, the Agrawal Yuva Mandal, Prayagraj, organized a grand sports competition at St. Joseph School, Civil Lines, on Sunday, October 4, 2026. More than 800 children enthusiastically participated in competitions across various age groups. Along with the children, women also participated in various events. Present at the event were Chief Guest Mr. Anil Agarwal and Special Guest Mr. N.C. Agarwal. They noted that sports play a vital role in children’s physical and mental development, as well as in developing discipline, self-confidence, leadership skills, and team spirit. Various competitions including toffee race, balloon bursting race, sock race, balloon run, bindi applying race, musical chair, 100 meter race, chess and carrom were held in the competitions.
Shri Piyush Ranjan Agrawal, President of the Shri Agrasen Agrawal Samaj, Prayagraj, said that Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti is an opportunity to unite society and connect the new generation with values. He congratulated the Agrawal Yuva Mandal for the success of the event. Jayanti coordinator CA Vinay Goyal said the event’s purpose was to foster interest in sports among children and youth, while also promoting healthy competition, discipline, and a spirit of brotherhood. Agarwal Youth Board President Abhinav Agarwal expressed his gratitude to all participants, parents, and supporters.
Prizes were awarded to the first, second, and third-place winners in various competitions. City North MLA Engineer Harsh Vardhan Vajpayee presented the awards to the winners and encouraged them. He encouraged children to play chess, saying it develops concentration, logical reasoning, patience, and decision-making.
Media in-charge Manish Garg said that the participation of over 800 children reflects the success of the event and the enthusiasm of the community. Such events provide children with the opportunity to showcase their talents and connect them with sports, a healthy lifestyle, and social participation.

Mona Agarwal and her entire team from Agarwal Mahila Mandal and Sarika Agarwal, Dr. Kirti Agarwal, Dr. Vinita Agarwal, Deepti Gupta, Shruti Agarwal, Akanksha Agarwal and many other members from Agarwal Yuva Mahila Mandal were present. With everyone’s cooperation the competitions were successfully completed.
