Prayagraj: Priya Sunil Mali and Anju, PhD scholars from the Department of Translation Studies, Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, have been awarded the “Sheelbhadra Samman”. Wings, a publication house, Vidyasagar College of Education, Darjeeling, and the Acharya Nanddulare Vajpayee Foundation, Palwal (Haryana) jointly organized an international symposium on “Indian Knowledge Tradition: Education, Literature, and Research.” The symposium’s closing ceremony took place on October 3rd. On this occasion, two PhD students, Priya Mali and Anju, were presented with the award by Wings Editor-in-Chief Sulekha Sarkar, General Secretary of Nepali Sahitya Sammelan, Darjeeling, Mahendra Pradhan, Controller of Examinations, Darjeeling Hills University, Mangpu, Dr. Debashish Dutta, Additional District Project Officer, Jalpaiguri, Rajiv Chakraborty, and Darjeeling Hills University Registrar, Sujata Rana.

Professors, litterateurs, researchers and educationists from universities and colleges of different states of the country participated in the symposium and discussed various dimensions of the Indian knowledge tradition. In this program, a total of 9 participants from different states of the country were honored with various honors.
