Prayagraj: A delegation of lawyers staged a strong protest by gheraoing the District Magistrate of Prayagraj against the illegal occupation of Prayagraj’s historic Holland Hall. The delegation was led by senior BJP leader and senior High Court advocate Avinash Dubey. A large number of other respected lawyers from Prayagraj were present with him.

While submitting a memorandum to the District Magistrate, the advocates said that Holland Hall is a historical and cultural heritage of Prayagraj, and the illegal occupation of it by land mafias is completely unconstitutional. Such occupation right under the nose of the administration reflects administrative negligence. On this occasion, Advocate Avinash Dubey said, “Holland Hall is not just a building, it is the identity of Prayagraj. Illegal occupation of this hall will not be tolerated at any cost. The guardians of the law cannot be allowed to break the law.” Advocate Avinash Dubey and other senior advocates were primarily present at the siege. Advocates Prakash Dwivedi, Rajneesh Tiwari, Narendra Pandey, Anand Mishra, Anoop Tiwari, Sandeep Yadav, Atul Tiwari, Bhupendra Tripathi (candidate of Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh), Rajneesh Dwivedi, Manu Kakkar, Ramakrishna Dwivedi, Shiv Tiwari etc. hundreds of advocates were present.
