Prayagraj: A condolence meeting was organized on Sunday at the residence of the late educationist and social worker Pandit Dadu Lal Pandey in Yamunotri Nagar on the occasion of his first death anniversary. Family members, relatives, well-wishers and dignitaries paid their heartfelt tributes by offering flowers at his portrait and fondly remembering his personality and contributions.

Renowned Acharya Pandit Awadhesh Pandey conducted the Shanti Path. His eldest son, Dr. Ambika Pandey, and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Manisha Pandey, performed the Havan and other religious rituals in accordance with Vedic traditions and prescribed rituals. Thereafter, girls and Brahmins were respectfully served meals and given dakshina before being seen off.

On the occasion, the speakers remembered the late Dadu Lal Pandey for his simple, humble, affectionate and warm-hearted personality. They said that his life was an inspiring example of dedication to family and society, strong values, SANSKAR, and human values. His affection, values and guidance will always remain a source of inspiration for the family.

On his first death anniversary, everyone present paid their heartfelt tribute with moist eyes and remembered his invaluable contribution and affectionate presence.
