Prayagraj: In view of the upcoming festival, a meeting of the police administration and the peace committee was held in Prayagraj Kotwali premises on Friday. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of ACP Nikita Srivastava and Chand Miyan of the Peace Committee. Religious leaders of all religions, social workers, councillors and people of Civil Defence participated in the meeting. Nikita Srivastava, ACP of Kotwali area, said that the purpose of holding the meeting is to ensure that the upcoming festivals Karna Ghoda, Durga Puja, Dussehra are celebrated peacefully by all of us and all the committees will have to follow the guidelines of the administration.
The Kotwali in-charge said that the responsibility of the Kotwali police increases significantly during Dussehra. The Karna Ghoda Pajawa outposts, the Shringar Chowkiya that takes place in the morning, and the Bharat Milap procession have to be conducted safely. The Kotwali in-charge said that all kinds of security arrangements will be made for women. If anyone tries to create any problem, they will be dealt with strictly.
