Prayagraj: Bai Ka Baag Durga Puja Barwari has achieved another historic milestone in its glorious centenary year. Bai Ka Baag Barwari was honored with the prestigious ‘Centenary Honor Award’ at the Durga Puja Prize Distribution Ceremony organized at Bharat Sevashram Sangha in collaboration with Bengali Welfare Association, Allahabad Durga Puja Committee. This year, the committee displayed excellent performance in various competitive categories and secured the first position, demonstrating its excellence.

This year’s Bai Ka Bagh Durga Puja pandal was based on the magnificent architecture and majestic splendor of Kerala’s world-famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The pandal’s exquisite decorations, intricate craftsmanship, and captivating presentation mesmerized devotees and spectators. The magnificent idol of Goddess Durga appeared as if Goddess Bhavani herself were present to grant darshan to devotees. The Goddess’s court, radiating a golden glow, radiated a supernatural radiance.

In particular, the vast wealth, precious diamonds and jewels preserved in the vaults of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala, and the beliefs associated with the serpent god, were artistically brought to life. The grandeur and artistic presentation of the entire theme gave Bai Ka Baag Puja its special identity.

The shields and certificates received in various categories at the function were received by Raju Dwivedi, TP Mishra, Subroto Ghosh, Amrish Jain, Sachin Rawat, Jai Mukherjee, Jai Agarwal, Ankit Singh and other members on behalf of the committee.

Puja coordinator and media in-charge Lalu Mittal attributed this proud achievement to the immense love and trust of devotees, city residents, and well-wishers.
