Called oppn’s allegations insult to mandate, Modi-Yogi government’s public welfare schemes basis of development

Prayagraj: Rajnikant Srivastava, provincial coordinator of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s NGO cell, said that the opposition’s continued questioning of the democratically elected government and the use of abusive language against constitutional institutions and the Election Commission is against the dignity of democracy. He said that the governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, formed with immense public support, are continuously moving forward on the path of development and public welfare.

Rajinikanth said that the central and state governments, with the commitment of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”, are extending the benefits of schemes to every section of society. Eligible beneficiaries are being benefited without any discrimination under public welfare schemes like the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, toilet construction under the Swachh Bharat Mission, and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He said that the government’s inclusive policies are in contrast to the opposition’s appeasement politics.

Questioning the opposition’s allegations of vote theft, he said that the attitude of opposition parties varies from state to state. In Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana, when opposition coalitions form governments, the election process is not questioned, whereas in other circumstances, allegations are leveled against the Election Commission and democratic institutions. He said that in a democracy, one should present one’s views through facts and constitutional processes, rather than making accusations.

Rajinikanth said that the opposition’s continued attempts to spread confusion and create an atmosphere of chaos are not in the national interest. To strengthen democracy, all political parties must respect constitutional institutions and accept the public mandate.

On this occasion, 28 organizations from 16 districts of Kashi Province participated in the Save Democracy March. Representatives of the Hindustan Yuva Utthan Samiti and numerous social activists shared the message of protecting democracy, respecting constitutional institutions, and solidarity in the national interest.

The program was mainly attended by Rajnikanth, Anoop Kumar Srivastava, Gyanendra Dwivedi, Pawan Srivastava, Harsh Srivastava, Satyam Singh, Nikhilesh Pandey, Amrish Kant, Nitin Vishwakarma, Karmendra Tiwari, Janardan Shukla, Rajesh Pandey, Harikrishna Tiwari, Tariq Ahmed Mohammad Aslam Bhola Tiwari and Amit Dubey along with other workers of Hindustan Yuva Utthan Samiti.
