Prayagraj: Congress workers have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior party leader and former Chairman of the Mandal Vikas Nigam, Ramesh Pandey. In this regard, a condolence meeting of the office-bearers of the City Congress Committee was held on Saturday afternoon at the party office, Jawahar Square, under the president ship of Fuzail Hashmi. Addressing the meeting, speakers described  Pandey as a devoted leader of the party and said that he was a true well-wisher of the Congress ideology. He was committed to strengthening the organization. Party members emphasized his valuable contributions to the party organization. On this occasion, a two-minute silence was observed to pray for the peace of the departed soul.
