Prayagraj: Rajnikant Srivastava, State Coordinator of the Bharatiya Janata Party NGO Cell, said that the Magh Mela, a grand festival of faith, service, and dedication, which began on January 3rd, concluded in grand style on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. Devotees from India and abroad, who visited the holy city of Prayagraj, strengthened the glorious tradition of Sanatan culture by taking a holy dip at the confluence of Mother Ganga and Yamuna.
He said that various social organizations, NGOs, volunteers, officials, and employees made significant contributions to the well-organized and successful Magh Mela through service, security, cleanliness, health, and public awareness. The sacred land of Prayagraj heartily congratulates all such service-minded organizations and personalities who worked with determination to promote Sanatan culture.
The NGO cell distributed literature and Sanatan calendars related to the public welfare schemes of the central Modi government and the state’s Yogi government to the devotees attending the fair. Additionally, through the “Contact, Dialogue, and Dastak” campaign, a meaningful effort was made to reach out to various social organizations and volunteers to observe and coordinate their service work.
A grand felicitation ceremony will be held soon in Prayagraj and Lucknow under the banner of Hindustan Yuva Utthan Samiti to honor the officials, employees, contract workers, and social workers who ensured the Magh Mela was conducted fearlessly, systematically, and successfully. On this occasion, all individuals and organizations who have contributed to Indian culture and social upliftment will be honored. The fourth pillar of democracy—media representatives—will also be specially honored.
