Prayagraj: Rotary Allahabad President Rajeev Ranjan Agrawal participated in the programme organised at the cricket ground of University of Allahabad on Sunday at 12:00 noon with the club members. On the occasion of the closing ceremony of the charity “Abbas Rai” Media Premier League Cricket Tournament organised in the memory of late journalists Abbas Ali and Devendra Rai of Prayagraj, Harshit Rai, 12 year old son of late Devendra Rai, a student of class 6 in Boys High School, was presented a cheque of scholarship amount of Rs. 60,000 from the Rotary Allahabad family to his mother Nivedita Rai.

On this occasion, it was also assured that Rotary Allahabad would fully support Harshit Rai’s education fees until he passed Class 12. Honorary Secretary Vibhu Agarwal, along with Anup Agarwal, Piyush Agarwal, Ajay Agarwal, Mukesh Agarwal, Rakesh Verma, Abhishek Agarwal, Akshat Agarwal, and Ajay Gupta were present at the event.
