Prayagraj: On the first day of the Udaan- Sports Fest Football Competition held at Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, the Northern Football Academy team defeated National Institute of Fashion Technology Rae Bareli by 2-0 and secured full points. The tournament will be played in two phases: the first phase will be the league matches, while the second phase will be the final between the top two teams.

According to the academy’s head coach Indranil Ghosh, Northern Football Academy’s captain Harshit Ojha scored the first goal on Vedant’s cross while Alok scored the second goal for the team on Rohit’s pass. In the end, Northern Football Academy won the opening match 2-0 to take full points.
