Prayagraj: As soon as the news of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei being martyred in the Israeli and American attack spread, a wave of mourning ran through the Muslim areas. Sadness prevailed in every home. While every person was immersed in grief, India was restless due to not getting any news about the well-being of its loved ones living in Iran. Due to the impact of the news, the heart remained restless and heavy, while the eyes were filled with tears. Along with organizing a Taziyati gathering by Momineen Allahabad at Dargah Hazrat Abbas in Dariyabad, tributes were paid to the late Alamedin leader of world peace, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, an example of courage and steadfastness. Some called him a great warrior, while some called him the leader of great men, who never bowed before the cruel government.

Maulana Syed Javedul Haider Rizvi said that Rahbar-e-Moazzam was 86 years old but his passion was like that of a youth, he had the zeal of a lion in his heart, the tradition of Karbala in his blood and such an impact in his voice that it deprived the sleep of the oppressors. Maulana Amirur Rizvi, while mentioning his leadership, said that his leadership was not limited to politics only, it was a belief, it was courage, it was a light. Maulana Hasan Raza Zaidi said that whether death comes to you or you go to death, it does not matter if the destination is honour and truth. He said that today we have lost him physically but it is true that such people do not die, their thoughts, their passion, their message remain alive.
Maulana Zeeshan Haider said, “We are proud to have witnessed the guidance of such a great leader. A leader whose very existence was doom for the oppressors. He had truth in his eyes, faith in his tone, and the patience of Karbala in his heart. Today, his eyes are crying tears of blood.” The program was conducted by Anees Ahmed Jaisi.
On the occasion of the month of Ramzan, most of the people were fasting but in Shia dominated areas including Kareli, Karailabag, Dariyabad, Rani Mandi, Dayara Shah Ajmal, Bakshi Bazaar, Shahganj, the stoves were not lit due to the news of martyrdom of Rahbar-e-Moazzam. The women of the house prayed for forgiveness in a sad atmosphere and everyone broke their fast by ordering fruits from the market. Black flags were hoisted in the houses and people participated in the Tazia procession wearing black clothes.
