Prayagraj: Presenting a wonderful example of social harmony, cooperation and service, the 18th Sarva Vaishya mass marriage ceremony was held on Sunday, under the joint aegis of the International Agrahari Samaj and Sarva Vaishya Chetna Samiti, amidst great grandeur, joy and religious atmosphere. On this auspicious occasion, 14 newlyweds tied the knot with Vedic chanting and traditional rituals, which were witnessed and blessed by thousands of people. The chief guest of the ceremony was the Justice V.C. Dixit (High Court, Allahabad). He cordially blessed all the newlyweds and wished them a bright, happy, and prosperous married life. In his address, he said that such mass marriages promote brotherhood, cooperation, and simplicity and set an example for society to follow. He praised the event, saying that such events serve to unite society and strengthen mutual harmony and unity.

As part of the program, the wedding procession departed from Ghantaghar Chowk at 12 noon with great joy and fanfare, attended by hundreds of people. The procession was then given a grand welcome in front of the Gulab Mansion Hotel. The entire area was filled with auspicious songs, Vedic chants, and a festive atmosphere. All wedding rituals were performed according to Vedic tradition, and the newlyweds’ farewell ceremony concluded at 10 p.m. in an emotional atmosphere.

More than five thousand people were present in this grand event, who enhanced the beauty of the program by blessing the newlyweds. Many dignitaries of the society, social workers, representatives of the business community and prominent citizens of the area attended the function in large numbers. A festive atmosphere was seen at the entire venue and people praised this tradition of mass marriage profusely. In the successful organization of the program, the special contribution was made by the President of Sarva Vaishya Chetna Samiti, Mr. Hariom Sahu and the Patron and Organization Coordinator of International Agrahari Samaj, Mr. Sandeep Agrahari, along with many officials and workers of the society, with whose cooperation this grand event could be successfully completed.

Meanwhile, Brijesh Kesarwani, media in-charge of the Sarva Vaishya Chetna Samiti, stated that this grand event witnessed unprecedented support and enthusiasm from the community.
