Steps being taken rapidly towards making Prayagraj modern, accessible and spiritual city

Prayagraj: On the occasion of the Uttar Pradesh government’s nine-year anniversary, Prayagraj Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani paid a courtesy call on Honorable Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, extending his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. On this occasion, the Chief Minister’s leadership was praised for the unprecedented development work undertaken in the state and the successful implementation of public welfare schemes.

During the meeting, the Mayor provided the Chief Minister with detailed information about the various development projects being undertaken by the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation. They discussed several important projects aimed at giving Prayagraj a modern, organized, and spiritual identity. These projects included the construction of the Ram Setu, the establishment of a state-of-the-art technology park, the development of a literary pilgrimage site, and the establishment of a spiritual university.

Considering the city’s growing traffic problems, the Mayor stressed the need to construct flyovers at all major intersections to ensure Prayagraj’s traffic flow is free of traffic jams and maintain smooth traffic flow. The Chief Minister responded positively, providing necessary guidelines and assuring to pursue these projects on priority.

During this meeting, which took place on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the Mayor received the Chief Minister’s blessings. The Chief Minister assured all possible support for the overall development of Prayagraj and stated that the state government is fully committed to the city’s development.

This meeting is being considered an important step towards the future development of Prayagraj, in which a plan to take the city to new heights by balancing modern infrastructure, cultural heritage and spiritual importance was clearly laid out.
