Nine-day Vasantik Navratri festival begins
54th Shri Ram Katha to be organised from March 19 to 27
Prayagraj: In the Shaktipeeth Maa Kalyani Devi Ji temple, Maa Kalyani Devi Ji’s General Secretary Shyam Ji Pathak started the Mangala Aarti at 5 am with Abhishek Puja as per the rituals and he said that under the nine-day Vasantik Navratri Mahotsav, Shat Chandi Maha Yagya will be performed by Vedic Brahmins every day from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm and on Nav Samvatsara Pratipada Thursday, devotees will get the decoration darshan of Maa Kalyani Devi Ji from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Temple President Pandit Sushil Kumar Pathak told that on the first day of Vasantik Navratri, Maa Kalyani Devi will be seated in the form of Shailputri, riding on a bull and holding a trident and a lotus flower in her hands, adorned with many types of ornaments and various types of flowers, in a palace made of silver and sandalwood and will give darshan to the devotees. And at 7:00 pm, the grand aarti of Maa Kalyani Devi ji will be performed, after which the 54th musical Shri Ram Katha, which will run for nine days, will be inaugurated in the park located near Kalyani Devi Dham. On this occasion, devotees will receive the nectar of Ram Katha from the eminent national thinker Dr. Aniruddha Ji Maharaj Vrindavan till 11:00 pm.
