Host Vishnu Bhagwan Public School starts with a win

Prayagraj: The final round of the Northern Premier League, being played under the aegis of the Northern Football Academy, began today at the Vishnu Bhagwan Public School’s ground in Jhalwa. According to the academy’s chief coach, Indranil Ghosh, all the matches of the first and second phases of the competition had already been played. In the first match of the final round, host Vishnu Bhagwan Public School defeated Thunder Bolts Football Team 3-0 to secure full points. Shadab scored the first goal for Vishnu Bhagwan on a pass from Kumar Ansh, while Shrestha and Nishant scored one goal each. The winning team was one goal ahead in the first half. Shrestha Maurya received the Player of the Match award. Today’s chief guest, Taekwondo coach Anurag Singh, introduced himself to the players of both teams.
