Prayagraj: The Consolidation Office in Soraon, Prayagraj district, has become a unique department. For eight years, the department has failed to submit a report, leading to an increase in land disputes here rather than a reduction. Siyaram Saroj, Vice President and Advocate of the National Ramayana Fair, Shringaverpur Dham, alleges that in 2018, a report was requested from the department regarding the land dispute between the Tulsi Sahitya Prachar Samiti and the Tulsi Sahitya Kendra at Shringaverpur Dham. The department sent a report to the department shortly thereafter, but it was returned with objections. Despite repeated correspondence, eight years have passed, but the Consolidation Department has yet to resolve the dispute and has not sent a report, leading to a continued escalation of the land dispute between the two. While the police department may be concerned about the Tulsi Sahitya Kendra and Tulsi Prachar and want to address the issue, the lack of a report from the consolidation department has hindered the situation. Advocate Siyaram Saroj stated that the justice-loving Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has clearly instructed that files on any desk be disposed of within a week, but eight years have passed and the department has not even submitted a report. Siyaram Saroj appealed to the Chief Minister for justice so that the land dispute can be resolved.
