Work to strengthen interests of entrepreneurs and environment for industrial development
Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Government’s Industrial Development Minister, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, has directed officials of the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department to prioritize the use of the Rs. 28,864.98 crore budget allocated for the Industrial Development Department for the 2025-26 fiscal year before the end of the financial year. Minister Nandi conducted a detailed review of the budget utilization status. He directed the various authorities to utilize the budget based on important infrastructure and industrial development projects within their respective budgetary areas. He also directed officials to maximize the budget before the end of the financial year.
He directed the Industrial Development Authorities to expedite land acquisition efforts for the development of roads, electricity, water, and other basic and fundamental amenities in industrial areas, as well as to utilize the budget at a rapid pace for other ongoing projects. Minister Nandi said that it should be ensured that the budget is utilized properly and fully in such projects which are in the interest of entrepreneurs and are in the interest of strengthening the environment of industrial development. Instructions were given to use the budget on priority basis for development of infrastructure in industrial areas, for land acquisition or for such projects which can take Uttar Pradesh to greater heights.
