Prayagraj: Bethany Convent School, Naini, Prayagraj, set a remarkable example of humanity by celebrating Labour’s Day in a truly meaningful way. While many schools focus on Teachers’ Day and Parents’ Day celebrations, Bethany Convent School chose to honor the hardworking workers whose dedication plays an essential role in our daily lives.
The highlight of the event was that the entire program was beautifully organized by the students themselves. Through heartfelt dance performances, powerful dramas, and emotional presentations on child labour and hunger-free society, students conveyed deep messages of respect, equality, and compassion. Their performances moved the audience to tears.
Principal Sr. Dr. Shamitha honored all workers with gifts, bringing joy and appreciation to every staff member. In her inspiring speech, she emphasized the importance of teaching children to respect gardeners, cleaners, drivers, and all support staff, as they contribute significantly to making our lives comfortable and better.
Vice Principal Sr. Gracy conducted the program gracefully, while Sr. Flasia delivered the vote of thanks. Teachers Deepaka Kumar and Priti Singh organized fun games for the workers, making the occasion even more memorable. Dr. Mohd Sabir, Bipin Gupta, Sunil Gupta, Vinod Pandey, Sidhyantika Singh, along with staff members and students, were present to make the event a grand success. This celebration was not just an event, but a beautiful lesson in humanity, dignity, and gratitude—proving that true education lies in respecting every individual.
