Board exam scores direct testimony to BHS’s enormous discipline and outstanding quality of instruction under present admin: CB Luke
Prayagraj: Complete denial of malicious circular dated 29.04.2026 and the defamatory allegations levelled against the Principal of Boys High School (BHS). A defamatory and baseless circular dated 29.04.2026 is being circulated to media houses by Morris Edgar Dan, who identifies himself as the “Bishop of the Diocese of Lucknow.” Their letter makes fabricated claims about the EOW FIR and describes David Andrew Luke as the “dismissed” Principal of Boys High School (BHS) & College. BHS management is issuing this official denial to counter attempt to tarnish the dignity of a highly disciplined educational institution and its administration and to present the correct facts.
The matter is entirely sub judice and Dan has no legal standing. The institutional management of the Allahabad High School Society is the subject of a long-standing civil dispute which is currently sub judice. The Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court in its recent and landmark judgment dated April 16, 2026 (Special Appeal No. 1201/2025) has clearly held that the dispute as to who is the legitimate “Bishop” and President of the Society is unresolved and must be decided by a competent civil court.
The High Court has abolished the Assistant Registrar’s authority to recognize any faction. Therefore, Dan has no legal right to use official letterhead or to “dismiss” the Principal. His actions are a direct violation of judicial process and a desperate attempt to seize control of the management.
The Principal is legally recognized and protected by the High Court. Contrary to fabricated claims of dismissal, the High Court has expressed its unequivocal confidence in the current administration. To protect the institution’s financial resources from infighting between these factions, the Court has ordered that the accounts of the Boys High School and College will continue to be jointly managed by the Principal and the Additional District Magistrate (ADM), as before. David Andrew Luke is discharging his duties under this protective judicial framework and is the legitimate Acting Principal of the institution. The EOW FIR is merely a malicious and vindictive move to circumvent the High Court’s orders.
BHS’s outstanding academic excellence speaks for itself. While self-proclaimed bishops are attempting to tarnish the school’s reputation for personal gain, the BHS administration and students are completely focused on academic excellence. The recently announced 2025-26 board exam results are a direct testament to the school’s immense discipline and excellent level of education under the current leadership:
ICSE results: A brilliant 100% pass percentage among 492 examinees. 108 students scored above 90%, with school topper Rudra Sharma achieving an excellent score of 99%.
ISC results: A stunning 100% pass percentage among 314 examinees. 44 students scored above 90%, with school topper Hassan Shoaib achieving an unprecedented score of 99%.
This unparalleled academic success is impossible in a mismanaged or controversial institution. It is the result of the tireless dedication of the principal, staff, and students—a truth that Dan’s malicious circular clumsily attempts to conceal.
An Appeal for Responsible Journalism: BHS management have the highest respect for the fourth pillar of democracy and respectfully appeal to all media outlets to verify the facts and the recent orders of the High Court before publishing any news based on the unauthorized statements of Morris Edgar Dan. Publishing unverified claims not only unnecessarily tarnishes the reputation of a historic educational institution but also risks interfering with ongoing judicial proceedings. We have full confidence that the media will stand by the truth and support the uninterrupted education of our students. Appropriate legal action has also been initiated to protect the integrity of the institution.
