Prayagraj: To commemorate the massive victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Puducherry, Assam and West Bengal, a grand victory procession was taken out in Rajrooppur, Prayagraj under the leadership of Poonam Sant, National President of Women and Development Committee and senior BJP leader. A large number of BJP leaders, organization officials, and women enthusiastically participated in this victory procession. During the procession, people celebrated by applying gulal (colourful powder) and abir (colourful abir) to each other, and distributed sweets, yogurt, and West Bengal’s famous jhalmuri (sweet curd).
On this occasion, Poonam Sant said that this victory is not just for the Bharatiya Janata Party, but for the dignity and self-respect of every woman. She said that the public has given a befitting reply to the way the opposition, especially Mamata Banerjee, has opposed issues related to women’s empowerment.
She further said that the country’s successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi has continuously worked for women empowerment and respect, as a result of which women across the country including West Bengal ensured this historic victory by voting in favour of BJP.
She also said that the respected Home Minister Amit Shah, a master strategist and known as India’s “Chanakya,” played a significant role in ensuring this victory. His skillful guidance and strategy made this victory possible, further enhancing the respect for women in the country. During this victory procession, the organization’s national convenor, Isabelle Brandis, Geeta Mahajan, regional councilors Roma Bhartiya, Seema Bhartiya, Ekta Devi, Preeti Bhartiya, Gudda Devi, and a large number of women and dignitaries were present.
