Prayagraj: The dual function of Mother’s Day and the farewell of the school’s manager, Mother Genesia and Sister Arunima, was celebrated with great joy on Saturday at Christ Jyoti Convent School in Prayagraj. The charming performances of the children made the entire program very emotional and memorable. The function began with colorful cultural programs by the children. The students mesmerized everyone through dance, song and stage management. Especially the children of class 2 enthralled the audience by presenting a group dance in colorful costumes. Their tiny steps and feet tapping to the rhythm presented a beautiful example of unity and collective spirit. The eyes of the audience became moist after listening to the special farewell song.
During the farewell ceremony, the school Principal recalled Mother Genesia’s long and dedicated service, stating that her sacrifice, devotion, and vision have brought the institution to its present heights. She also lavishly praised Sister Arunima’s work. On this occasion, the Principal presented Mother Genesia and Sister Arunima with mementos. Students also expressed their affection and respect by presenting bouquets and farewell cards. The teachers sang a farewell song, expressing their feelings and cherishing old memories.
