Prayagraj: Bharatiya Janata Party Prayagraj Yamunapar registered a strong protest against the opposition (Congress-SP) not playing a positive role regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill Nari Shakti Vandan Act in the Lok Sabha. Under the leadership of BJP Yamunapar Mahila Morcha, a Mahila Jan Akrosh Rally was taken out on Sunday and a sit-in demonstration was held, gheraoing the residence of the Congress MP of Allahabad Lok Sabha constituency.
A large number of women activists and common citizen women participated in this public anger rally. The women held placards in their hands and raised slogans and accused the opposition of having anti-women mentality.
