Prayagraj: A review meeting of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Metropolitan Committee was chaired by Purvanchal President Israr Ahmed. In this meeting, the Metropolitan Committee discussed the work done so far by the three Vidhan Sabha Presidents and all the members up to the booth level in these Vidhan Sabhas and decided the guidelines for the future outline. Now only a few months are left for the Vidhan Sabha elections 2027. Purvanchal President Israr Ahmed gave guidelines to all the party members on how to strengthen the organization. Under the Active Member Campaign, they were also asked to fill the forms and submit them to the State Office. The target was set to have 500 active members from each district and Metropolitan area.
On this occasion, along with accepting the membership of the party, many people were also given positions. Raees Ahmed and Mahfooz Alam were given appointment letters as Metropolitan Secretary. Anees Ahmed and Israr Ahmed Sahil from Ward No. 100 were given the responsibility of the post of President. Metropolitan President Afsar Mahmood welcomed all the newly appointed members by garlanding them, encouraged all the members and spread the party’s policies to the general public. Emphasis was laid on reaching out and strengthening the party.
