Mother’s Day celebrated with great enthusiasm at Durgavati Int’l School

Prayagraj: Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at the newly constructed building of the Church Lane branch of Durgavati International School. The program aimed to inculcate respect, love, and gratitude for their mothers in students. School Chairman Sushil Mishra began the program by lighting a lamp. After Saraswati Vandana, the little children expressed their affection for their mothers through colorful cultural performances. The students captivated all the parents present with songs, dances, poetry recitations, and short plays. Various entertaining competitions were also organized on the school campus, in which mothers participated enthusiastically. Greeting cards and handmade gifts made by the children for their mothers were a highlight. School Chairman Sushil Mishra said that a mother is a child’s first teacher and the foundation of life. The importance of a mother cannot be described in words. Manager Dr. Swatantra Mishra said that a mother’s love, sacrifice, and guidance give direction to every child’s life. He wished all mothers a Happy Mother’s Day. All the mothers were honored with mementos at the event. A large number of school teachers, students, and parents were present on the occasion.
