Vidya Bharati’s three-day music workshop begins, 45 teachers taking training

Prayagraj: Vidya Bharati Kashi Province’s three-day provincial music training workshop was inaugurated Saturday evening at Jwala Devi Shishu Vidya Mandir in Civil Lines. The workshop will conclude on May 18th at noon.

Provincial Inspector Sheshdhar Dwivedi inaugurated the workshop by lighting the lamp. He said that music is not just an art, but a powerful medium for cultivating values. Music education can instill discipline, collectivism, and patriotism in children. 45 teachers including 22 Acharyas and 23 Acharyas from Keshav, Madhav, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Kashi, Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh and Kadipur complexes of Kashi province are participating in the workshop.

Under the guidance of regional music coordinator Manoj Gupta, participants are being trained in vocal practice, rhythm, and school prayers. Kashi Province’s music coordinator Deenbandhu Singh and music in-charge Bharat Singh are assisting. Principal Indrajit Tripathi is overseeing the arrangements. Regional sports chief Jagdish Singh was also present.
