Cleanliness and waste segregation awareness campaign organized at Prayagraj Junction
Prayagraj: On the occasion of World Environment Day-2026, North Central Railway/Prayagraj Division organised a special awareness campaign at Prayagraj Junction station to increase public awareness towards environmental protection and cleanliness. During the campaign, railway employees and passengers were made aware of the importance of waste segregation. They also provided information about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and placed special emphasis on its minimal use. The program conveyed the message of collective responsibility for a clean and green environment. Passengers were also informed that small efforts, such as proper waste disposal and limited use of plastic, can make a significant contribution to environmental protection.
