Prayagraj: A grand felicitation ceremony was organized by the Women’s Welfare Committee in the Divisional Auditorium of North Central Railway/Prayagraj Division on the occasion of Labour Day today, May 22, 2026. The purpose of the program was to honor the dedication, hard work, and excellent service of Class IV employees working in various departments of the division. A total of 51 employees selected from various departments of the division were honored during the ceremony. Mrs. Vandana Agarwal, Chairperson of the Women’s Welfare Committee, was the chief guest at the event. While honoring the employees, she praised their significant contributions to the smooth operation of the railway and the provision of improved passenger amenities.
In her address, Mrs. Vandana Agarwal stated that the progress of any organization depends on the hard work, discipline, and dedication of its employees. She emphasized that the contribution of every employee in the Railway family is crucial, and that it is through their tireless efforts that Indian Railways continues to achieve new milestones. She extended her best wishes to all the honored employees and urged them to continue working with the same dedication and commitment in the future.
She also stated that the working class is the foundation of any organization, and the Women’s Welfare Committee has always been committed to the welfare of employees and their families. The committee will continue to organize such programs in the future to encourage and promote the welfare of employees. During the program, an atmosphere of special enthusiasm and pride was evident among the honored employees. Expressing their gratitude to the Women’s Welfare Committee, the employees pledged to continue fulfilling their responsibilities with complete loyalty, honesty, and dedication.
