Meeting of Executive Committee of Uttar Pradesh Principal Council held

Prayagraj: The district executive meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Principals’ Council for Prayagraj district was held at Ishwar Sharan Inter College, Prayagraj. The meeting was chaired by Dr. P.P. Singh and conducted by General Secretary Arun Kumar Tripathi. The meeting was convened by Dr. Dilip Awasthi, Principal of Ishwar Sharan Inter College.

Following the confirmation of previous proceedings, Dr. Niranjan Singh, Dr. Rajesh Singh, Rakesh Anand, Dr. JP Verma, Dr. Santosh Shukla, Mrs. Sonia Muizu, and Madan Mohan Shankhdhar were included in the executive committee. They replaced the retiring principal. The committee thanked the retiring principals, especially Dr. Murar Ji Tripathi, for his educational and social services. A district conference was scheduled for July 23rd. Dr. Niranjan Singh, Principal of Lala Manmohan Das Inter College, was unanimously appointed its convener. Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, Sanjeev Tiwari, Dr. Dilip Awasthi, Dr. Pawan Tiwari, Dr. Awadhesh Singh, Dr. Mithilesh Shukla, and others expressed their views on the council.

It was decided at the meeting that a memorandum would be submitted to the District School Inspector, the Board Secretary, and other officials, along with the Uttar Pradesh Principals’ Council, to address the principals’ problems, discuss their demands, and prevent harassment. Dr. Lalji Yadav said that the Council should increase the participation and activism of women.

Dr. Santosh Singh said that those who weaken the organization should be closely monitored and harassment should be opposed in an organized manner. Dr. Pawan Tiwari said that before formulating any concept regarding the problem raised by teachers, discussions should be held with the principal, and personal egos should be kept separate from the organization.

Council President Dr. P.P. Singh thanked the Principal for attending the meeting and actively participating. He stated that problems would be resolved through dialogue and mediation, informing higher authorities of the truth, and that the Council would also resort to protests and demonstrations if necessary. The Council would compel higher officials and administrators to treat principals with justice and respect. He assured that the Principal would not be harassed. Dr. Yogendra Singh, Mahendra Tiwari, Dr. Ranjana Pandey, Arvind Singh, Mr. Kuldeep Dubey, Ramdhan Dwivedi, Dr. S.P. Pathak, Dr. Rajesh Singh, and others were present at the meeting. Council Treasurer Bhanu Prakash Maurya stated that financial arrangements would not be allowed to interfere.
