District executive meeting of Bharat Scouts and Guides held
Prayagraj: A meeting was held in the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan auditorium hall, chaired by District Chief Commissioner/District School Inspector Dr. Santosh Kumar Rai. The meeting was conducted by District Secretary Dr. P.P. Singh. The meeting began with a prayer and introduction. District Secretary Dr. P.P. Singh welcomed the District Chief Commissioner by presenting him with a scarf, and Firoz Alam Khan welcomed District Commissioner Scout/District Basic Education Officer Anil Kumar and District Training Commissioner, Scout and District Treasurer/Co-District School Inspector Jitendra Pratap Singh. Similarly, the District Commissioner Guide and all Tehsil Commissioner Scouts and Guides were welcomed with scarves and turban. Everyone introduced themselves. The new executive committee members were unanimously approved. Previous proceedings were confirmed. Points like registration/renewal (non CBSE/ CBSE), contribution 10 percent, achievement against organizational/training targets given by the state headquarters in the year 2025-26, progressive training (adult/boys program), action plan for achieving targets for the year 2026-27, introductory course, participation in adventure activities/nature study and trekking course, status of training in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools, status of Scout Bhawan, district rally, one district one activity, registration for Prime Minister Shield competition, action plan for the best district etc. were discussed.
District Chief Commissioner and District School Inspector Dr. Santosh Kumar Rai directed all officials to ensure 100% implementation of the targets set by the state. He also directed them to prepare an action plan for assisting pilgrims and controlling crowds during the Magh Mela, held annually in the district under the “One District One Activity” scheme. District Commissioner Scouts and District Basic Education Officer Anil Kumar encouraged the formation of teams in council and recognized schools, and the enactment of lifetime memberships to connect people with the Bharat Scouts and Guides organization. Treasurer Jitendra Pratap Singh presented the income and expenditure details. District Commissioner Guide Jyoti Singh, Rajiv Tripathi, Assistant Commissioner Pradeep Singh, Madan Mohan Shankhdhar, Suyog Pandey, Dr. Niranjan Singh, Suyog Pandey, District Guide Captain Praveen Singh, Gayatri Yadav, Ved Prakash Bhagat, Abhishek Kanaujia, Neeraj Singh, Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Poonam Verma, Usha Kushwaha, District Organization and Training Commissioner Scouts and Guides, etc. were present in the meeting.
