Prayagraj: The Dadhikando fair was celebrated with great pomp in Rasulabad-Teliarganj by the historical Shri Krishna Dadhikando Utsav Committee. After the ritualistic Aarti-Pujan by Thakur at 9 pm in the temple, Lord Shri Krishna was seated on the howdah of an elephant and a grand procession was taken out with cheers. The procession included the idol of Lord Ganesha and attractive artistic pedestals of Lord Shri Krishna. A huge crowd of devotees gathered at Rasulabad, Nishad Basti, Mehdauri Colony, TV Colony Chungi and Teliyarganj main road. The grand illumination and tableaux decorated on the roads captivated the people.

Under tight police security, the procession reached Rasulabad again via Ambedkar Park. Artistic chowkis were displayed here and awards were given to the best chowkis.

The fair was attended by a large number of dignitaries and devotees including Chief Guest MLA Harsh Vardhan Bajpai and former MLA Prabhashankar Pandey, Councillors Meenu Tiwari, Mukund Tiwari, Suresh Yadav, Rakesh Mishra, Manoj Singh, Avinash Nishad, Lavkush Kushwaha, Ramesh Mishra, Deepak Mishra, Rajesh Prajapati, Akhilesh Singh, Manoj Tiwari, Bhupati Tiwari, Shiv Prasad Gupta, Ajit Singh Rathore, Raja Ram Kanaujia, Narayan Nishad and Bindu Singh.
